Terms & Conditions
Last Updated: 13 August 2026
1. Binding Effect
These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) constitute a legally binding agreement between you (“User”) and International Business Legal Associates (IBLAW) (“Firm”) governing access to and use of this website (“Website”). By accessing, browsing, or otherwise using the Website, the User acknowledges and agrees to be bound by these Terms in their entirety. If the User does not accept these Terms without limitation, the User must immediately cease all use of the Website.
2. Informational Nature and Non-Reliance
The content made available on this Website is provided strictly for general informational purposes and does not constitute legal advice, legal opinion, or any form of professional recommendation. While the Firm applies reasonable care in preparing Website content, it makes no representation or warranty as to its accuracy, completeness, or currency. The Firm assumes no responsibility or liability whatsoever for any action taken, or refrained from being taken, by the User or any third party in reliance on such information.
The User expressly agrees that no reliance shall be placed on any information contained on the Website for the purpose of making legal, financial, or commercial decisions, and that appropriate independent legal advice must be obtained in all cases.
3. No Attorney-Client Relationship
Access to or use of the Website, or any communication transmitted through it, does not create an attorney-client, advisory, fiduciary, or other professional relationship between the User and the Firm.
An attorney-client relationship shall arise only upon the Firm’s express written acceptance of an engagement, evidenced by a duly executed engagement agreement, in addition to a signed and registered Power of Attorney (POA) and subject to the Firm’s completion of conflict of interest checks and compliance with applicable legal and professional obligations.
4. Confidentiality, Professional Duties, and Communications
The Firm is bound by strict duties of confidentiality and professional conduct in accordance with the laws and regulations governing the legal profession in the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, including the rules of the Jordanian Bar Association.
The Firm implements administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information within its control. However, the transmission of information via the Internet is inherently insecure and may be subject to interception, loss, or unauthorized access. Accordingly, the Firm does not guarantee the security or confidentiality of any communication transmitted through the Website.
Any information submitted to the Firm through the Website prior to the formal establishment of an attorney-client relationship shall not be treated as confidential or privileged. The Firm is under no obligation to review, respond to, or retain any unsolicited communications received through the Website.
Users are expressly advised not to submit confidential or sensitive information unless and until a formal engagement has been confirmed in writing.
5. Conflicts of Interest
The Firm is committed to identifying and managing conflicts of interest in accordance with applicable professional obligations. Conflict checks are conducted prior to accepting any engagement and, where required, on an ongoing basis throughout the duration of the engagement.
The submission of information to the Firm through this Website does not create any obligation on the Firm to refrain from acting for other clients, including in matters that may be adverse to the User, unless and until an attorney-client relationship has been formally established.
6. Data Protection and Privacy
The Firm may collect, process, and store personal data through the Website, including but not limited to information submitted via contact forms, email communications, consultation or meeting requests, or recruitment submissions. Such processing shall be carried out in accordance with the Personal Data Protection Law No. (24) of 2023 of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, as amended from time to time.
The Firm processes personal data only where a lawful basis exists. In most cases, processing is based on the User's explicit, documented, and informed consent, which is specific as to its purpose and duration and may be given in writing or electronically. Where permitted under the Personal Data Protection Law No. (24) of 2023, the Firm may also process personal data without consent, including where the processing is required or authorized under applicable legislation or by a decision of a competent court, or where it concerns personal data that the User has deliberately made available to the public.
Consent to the processing of personal data is obtained separately and explicitly at the point where the User submits their data, such as through a contact or recruitment form or a cookie preference tool and is not implied merely from the User's use of the Website. This is without prejudice to the User's acceptance of these Terms, which is governed by the Binding Effect (Clause 1) above. Consent given by the User will not be relied upon where it was based on incorrect information or deceptive or misleading practices that induced it, or where the nature, type, or objectives of the processing are changed without obtaining consent.
These Terms serve as the notice required under the Personal Data Protection Law No. (24) of 2023 prior to the processing of personal data. By submitting personal data through the Website, including through any contact form, recruitment submission, or consultation or meeting request, the User provides their explicit consent to processing, and the date of such submission shall constitute the date on which processing of that data begins. The User acknowledges and agrees that submission of personal data through the Website constitutes both the act of provision of that data and the commencement of its processing on that date.
By way of this notice, and before any such submission, the User is informed that: the personal data processed is the data the User submits through the Website; it is processed for the purposes set out in this section (including responding to inquiries, arranging consultations or meetings, assessing potential engagements, conducting conflict of interest checks, and processing recruitment applications); it is processed for the period reasonably necessary to fulfil those purposes and any related legal or professional obligations, which period shall not be extended except with the User's consent; the Firm may engage a processor to carry out the processing on its behalf; and the Firm applies administrative, technical, and organizational controls to protect the security and integrity of the data. Where the Firm carries out any profiling, the User will be informed of it in accordance with the Law.
Personal data is collected solely for legitimate purposes, including responding to inquiries, arranging and conducting consultations or meetings, assessing potential engagements, conducting conflict of interest checks, processing recruitment applications, complying with legal and professional obligations, and maintaining and improving the functionality and security of the Website. The Firm does not use personal data for purposes incompatible with those for which it was collected. The Firm shall take appropriate administrative and technical measures to protect personal data against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, or disclosure, while recognizing that no system can be entirely secure.
Personal data shall not be retained for longer than is reasonably necessary for the purposes for which it was collected, unless required or permitted by applicable law or professional obligations. The Firm does not sell personal data and will not disclose such data to third parties except where necessary to fulfil the purposes described in this section, to comply with a legal or professional obligation, or where otherwise permitted under the applicable data protection laws of Jordan.
The Firm uses cloud-based service providers whose systems may store or process personal data on servers located outside the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan. Any such transfer is carried out in accordance with the Personal Data Protection Law No. (24) of 2023.
Where the User submits personal data relating to any third party through the Website, the User confirms that they are authorized to do so and that the relevant third party has been informed of, and where required has consented to, such processing.
The User has the rights afforded to data subjects under the Personal Data Protection Law No. (24) of 2023. To exercise any of these rights, or to submit a complaint, the User may contact the Firm using the details set out in these Terms.
7. Eligibility and Use by Minors
The Website is intended for use only if the User is legally capable of entering into binding obligations under applicable law.
Where the User lacks full legal capacity, any consent to the collection or processing of personal data must be given by that person's parent or guardian, or by the competent court upon the application of the competent authority where required. We do not intend, aim or knowingly collect data from minors. A parent or guardian who believes that a person under their care has provided personal data to the Firm may contact the Firm using the contact details set out in these Terms.

Cookies are small text files placed on the User's device. The Website may use strictly necessary cookies, which are essential for the operation of the Website, as well as functional, analytical, and performance cookies. Strictly necessary cookies do not require consent. For any non-essential cookies, the Firm will request the User's consent before such cookies are placed, in accordance with applicable data protection laws of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan.
The User may accept or reject non-essential cookies through any cookie banner or preference tool made available on the Website, and may also control or delete cookies through their browser settings. Disabling certain cookies may affect the availability or functionality of parts of the Website. Continued use of the Website with cookies enabled indicates the User's acceptance of the use of cookies as described in these Terms.
9. Intellectual Property
All content and materials comprising the Website are the exclusive property of the Firm or its licensors and are protected under applicable intellectual property laws. The User is granted a limited, revocable, non-transferable, and non-exclusive right to access and use the Website for personal, non-commercial purposes only. Any unauthorized use, reproduction, distribution, or modification of Website content is strictly prohibited.
10. Acceptable Use
The User shall use the Website solely for lawful purposes and in a manner that does not impair its functionality, security, or accessibility. The User shall not attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Website, introduce malicious code, or engage in any activity that interferes with its operation.
11. Third-Party Content
Any references or links to third-party websites are provided for convenience only. The Firm does not control or endorse such content and accepts no responsibility or liability for any loss or damage arising from reliance upon or use of such third-party materials.
12. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Website is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis without any warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted under applicable law, the Firm disclaims all warranties, whether express or implied, including but not limited to accuracy, completeness, reliability, fitness for purpose, and absence of errors or harmful components.
13. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the Firm, its partners, associates, and employees shall not be liable for any loss or damage of any nature arising out of or in connection with the use of, inability to use, or reliance upon the Website or its content. This includes, without limitation, direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or economic losses.
14. Modifications
The Firm reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to amend or update these Terms at any time. Any such amendments shall take effect immediately upon publication on the Website. Continued use of the Website constitutes acceptance of the amended Terms.
15. Suspension and Termination
The Firm may, at its sole discretion and without liability, suspend, restrict, or terminate access to the Website at any time, including in the event of any breach of these Terms.
16. Professional Disclaimer
Any references to past matters or outcomes are provided for illustrative purposes only and shall not be construed as a guarantee of future results.
17. Severability and Waiver
If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid or unenforceable, such provision shall be severed to the extent necessary, and the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect. The failure of the Firm to enforce any provision shall not constitute a waiver of its rights.
18. Governing Law
These Terms and any use of the Website shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan.
19. Entire Agreement
These Terms constitute the entire agreement between the User and the Firm in relation to the use of the Website.
