Biography

Mr. Kopti joined IBLAW Litigation Department as a Senior Associate in 2011. Before joining the IBLAW team, he enjoyed over 20 years of experience practicing civil, labor and employment, commercial litigation and contracts. He is licensed to appear before all courts in Jordan and regularly advises and represents both local and international clients. Mr. Kopti’s work currently focuses on litigating before all legal and administrative tribunals, and he is currently handling a number of high-profile cases. His expertise allows him to provide high level advise and counseling to his clients on corporate affairs such as commercial leasing, restructuring, mergers and acquisitions. His practice includes complex contract matters, dispute resolution, real estate issues, shareholder agreements, telecommunications, and claims involving monetary compensation from legal proceedings. In addition, Mr. Kopti was part of the legal team involved in one of the first successful imminent insolvency applications before the Jordanian courts. Through his practice, Mr. Kopti has provided legal opinions in relation to private sector telecom dispute matters. He has also been extensively involved in drafting and reviewing legislative and regulatory frameworks, particularly in areas such as debt resolution, insolvency, and the establishment of special economic zones. His experience further includes advising on large-scale legal modernization initiatives, contributing to the design of comprehensive socio-economic and institutional frameworks that support development and reform across multiple sectors.
