.Having served as a diplomat at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Mr. Al-Bashir carried over his experience in public international law to his private practice, which is focused mainly on dispute resolution and international law. Mr. Al-Bashir acts for clients in complex cases before both local courts and arbitral tribunals, and regularly renders advice on municipal and international law

Mr. Al-Bashir routinely acts for both claimants and respondents in complex commercial and international disputes before ad hoc and institutional arbitral tribunals.

Mohammed has substantial experience in construction law and disputes. Recent highlights of his construction practice include acting for Employer (Claimant) against an international Contractor in an arbitration under ad hoc rules pursuant to a FIDIC Silver Book. (details not public), and acting for Contractor (Claimant) in a mega development project under the FIDIC Red Book (details not public).

In addition to his arbitration practice, Mr. Al-Bashir routinely appears before the judiciary in arbitration-related court proceedings. Recently, he has acted for Respondent in an application before the Amman Court of Appeal related to the extension of an arbitration agreement to non-signatories. He also acted for Claimant before the Amman Court of Appeal in challenging the impartiality of an arbitrator due to his failure to disclose material facts.
